Vårt engagemang för tillgänglighet

På TUI Musement strävar vi efter att erbjuda en tillgänglig användarupplevelse för alla våra kunder, inklusive personer med funktionsnedsättning. Vi arbetar med att förbättra våra webbplatser och appar för att säkerställa att alla kan komma åt och boka alla delar av sin semester online på egen hand.

Vi strävar efter att anpassa våra plattformar till European Accessibility Act (EAA) och Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA-standarden, som beskriver bästa praxis för digital tillgänglighet.


European Accessibility Act och WCAG 2.2 AA

Vad är European Accessibility Act (EAA)?

Den europeiska tillgänglighetsakten (EAA) är en EU-lag som gör vardagsprodukter och tjänster – såsom bankärenden, transporter och e-handel – mer tillgängliga för personer med funktionsnedsättning. Genom att skapa gemensamma regler i hela Europa undanröjer den hinder och hjälper oss att erbjuda en mer inkluderande användarupplevelse för alla.

Vad är WCAG 2.2 AA?

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) definierar krav för designers och utvecklare för att förbättra tillgängligheten för personer med funktionsnedsättning. Det definierar tre nivåer av överensstämmelse – nivå A, nivå AA och nivå AAA. Riktlinjerna täcker ett brett spektrum av tillgänglighetsfunktioner, inklusive textstorlek och färg, tangentbordsnavigering och kompatibilitet med skärmläsare.


Kända tillgänglighetsproblem

  • 1.1.1 Non-text content (level A) - Some non-text elements do not have adequate text alternatives. Some decorative elements are not properly hidden from assistive technologies. Audio and video content do not include descriptive text.
  • 1.2.1 Audio-only and Video-only (Prerecorded) (Level A) – Video content does not provide a descriptive transcript.
  • 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (Level A) – Some headings are not correctly identified. Some form fields are not programmatically associated with their labels.
  • 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose (Level AA) – Some input fields do not programmatically communicate their intended purpose.
  • 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (Level AA) – Some text does not meet the minimum contrast requirement. Some text placed over images does not maintain sufficient legibility.
  • 1.4.4 Resize Text (Level AA) – Some text uses fixed units and cannot be resized correctly.
  • 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast (Level AA) – Some icons lack sufficient contrast. Some input field borders do not meet the minimum contrast requirement.
  • 1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus (Level AA) – Some components activated on hover or focus cannot be dismissed easily. Some components do not remain visible when moving the pointer. Some elements are not fully operable via keyboard when displayed.
  • 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A) – Some functionality cannot be fully operated using only the keyboard.
  • 2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap (Level A) – Some focused elements do not allow users to exit using the keyboard.
  • 2.2.1 Timing Adjustable (Level A) – Time-limited content cannot be disabled or extended.
  • 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks (Level A) – No mechanism is provided to skip directly to the main content.
  • 2.4.3 Focus Order (Level A) – Focus order is not always meaningful. Some interactive elements are not part of the navigation sequence. Focus can move outside open modals. Some non-visible elements can receive focus.
  • 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (Level A) – Some links and buttons do not clearly communicate their purpose. Some elements have empty or unclear accessible names.
  • 2.4.7 Focus Visible (Level AA) – Some interactive components do not display a visible focus state.
  • 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) (Level AA) – Some focused elements may not be visible.
  • 2.5.3 Label in Name (Level A) – Some components do not have an accessible name that matches the visible label.
  • 3.1.1 Language of Page - The default language of some pages is not programmatically determined.
  • 3.2.4 Consistent Identification (Level AA) – Components with the same function are not presented consistently. Some repeated labels are not uniform across the site.
  • 3.3.1 Error Identification (Level A) – Fields with errors are not programmatically identified and error descriptions are not programmatically linked to their fields.
  • 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions (Level A) – Some input fields lack text labels. Some required input formats are not communicated in advance.
  • 3.3.4 Error Prevention (Legal, Financial, Data) (Level AA) – Users cannot always review the data before final submission.
  • 3.3.7 Redundant Entry (Level A) – Some information is requested more than once within the same process.
  • 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) – Some interactive elements do not correctly expose name, role or state. Some structures do not follow semantic requirements. Some components do not use appropriate roles. Some interactive items are not properly described. Some controls do not programmatically communicate state changes.
  • 4.1.3 Status Messages (Level AA) – Some messages are not assigned the correct role. Some loading indicators do not programmatically communicate progress or status.
  • The PDFs uploaded to the site are not fully accessible.

Vårt arbete för tillgänglighet

Vi är medvetna om att vår webbplats ännu inte är fullt tillgänglig, men vi arbetar aktivt för att uppnå detta mål. För att driva på utvecklingen har vi inrättat en arbetsgrupp för tillgänglighet bestående av experter inom design, produkt och teknik från hela TUI Musement. Detta tvärfunktionella team arbetar för att integrera tillgänglighet i varje steg av vår digitala produktutveckling.

Vi gör även följande:

  • Samarbete med externa tillgänglighetsspecialister för att identifiera kritiska brister och erbjuda utbildning för våra team
  • Dokumentera varje steg i vår process, inklusive intern kommunikation och kunskapsdelning över våra plattformar, för att öka medvetenheten och främja en kultur av tillgänglighet.
  • Skapa en detaljerad tillgänglighetsplan och definiera tydliga processer för alla berörda team för att säkerställa konsekventa och hållbara framsteg.
  • Vi börjar med att optimera tillgängligheten på våra plattformar genom att förbättra textstorleken och färgkontrasten.

Anpassa din upplevelse efter dina behov

Vi vill att alla ska ha en bra användarupplevelse på vår webbplats. Du kan dock uppleva att du får en bättre användarupplevelse genom att anpassa datorns inställningar efter dina individuella behov. Du kan till exempel:

  • Ändra webbplatsens färger för att göra den lättare att läsa
  • Öka textstorleken för att göra den mer synlig.
  • Låt webbplatsinformationen läsas upp så att du kan lyssna istället för att läsa.
